Transportation
At Lake Martin Community Hospital, we know how important our transportation service is to you. The transportation is made possible through the support of the East Tallapoosa Medical Foundation. Our goal is to provide as many rides as possible in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining a high quality service.
The transportation service will pick up and return senior citizens or those needing wheel chair services for doctor appointments at the Hospital/Clinic. The service will also help make arrangements for approved transport to dialysis. Please call 1-888-372-5718 for this service.

How to Schedule a Trip
To request a trip, call Lake Martin Community Hospital at (256) 825-7821. All requests should be made 24 hours in advance. When the receptionist answers the phone, please provide the following information:
- your name,
- the day/date you want to travel,
- the complete address of where you have an appointment ( please include suite and/or building number and the doctor's name),
- the time you want to arrive at your destination.
Rules
Following some simple rules makes it easier and safer for everyone to ride. Please remember:
- You share the right to use Lake Martin Community Hospital services with others.
- Be considerate of the driver and other riders.
- Schedule rides only when you need them and be there to take the ride.
- No eating, drinking, smoking, or use of tobacco products allowed.
- Cancel your ride immediately if you do not need it. Please give a 24-hour notice.
- Do not ask the driver to do more than he/she is allowed.
- Be on time! Doing your part to be on time helps the driver to stay on time while better serving everyone.
- Extra rider = one person only.
